2000 Guineas Betting OddsNewmarket has been the home of Flat racing and horse racing betting for over 300 years. The 2000 Guineas is run over the Rowley Mile Course and is named after King Charles II "Old Rowley" who founded the Newmarket meetings following his restoration to the throne in 1660.

The Rowley Mile course is located on the edge of the Newmarket Town and you can easily see the magnificent Millennium Grandstand which dominates the skyline as you approach the course. The Rowley Mile features the best of Newmarket meetings both in early and late season and of course the first two of the English five classic races in early May: the Stan James 1000 and 2000 Guineas.

The Stan James 2000 Guineas on the first Saturday of May and is for the Colts and the Stan James 1000 Guineas on the Sunday for the Fillies both are run over the Straight Rowley Mile.
