Craven Stakes (17th-18th April 2012)
The Craven Stakes meeting at Newmarket has become known as a useful build-up race to the 2000 Guineas. In 2011 Native Khan had a fantastic showing and eventually finished third in the Guineas.

Greenham Stakes (21st April 2012)
The Greenham Stakes at Newbury is another big 2000 Guineas trial. Last year's winner was Frankel who stormed to victory and of course ended up winning the 2000 Guineas.
