Newmarket Racecourse

The Newmarket Racecourse is one of the most visually stunning race courses in the world and always delivers top quality races. The Rowley Mile is named after King Charles II "Old Rowley" who founded the Newmarket Races meetings following his restoration to the throne in 1660. It is is one of two courses at Newmarket, the other one being the July course.

The dominant feature of the racecourse is its magnificent Millennium Grandstand which also dominates the Newmarket skyline. The Rowley Mile course features the best of Newmarket meetings both in early and late season.
